This is not a camera drone hovering at altitude. Flying first person view through a headset is what puts a lens underneath a span, inside a structure and into the confined spaces an inspection actually depends on.

Why Sky One

Anyone can buy a drone. Almost nobody can do these three things at once.

Aerial footage stopped being rare a long time ago. What is still rare is a pilot who builds the aircraft, can fly it into a space a camera drone cannot enter, and can then cut and narrate the result to broadcast standard without handing it to anybody else.

The pilot builds the aircraft

Sky One's aircraft are built, repaired and modified in house, backed by more than twenty years of radio-control flight before the certificate was ever issued. That means spares on the truck, an understanding of how the machine fails before it fails, and the ability to put a purpose-built airframe over your property rather than whatever came in the box.

FPV gets into the tight places

Flying first person view, through a headset, is a different discipline from flying a camera drone at altitude. It is what allows a camera to go close to a span, underneath a deck, through a structure and into the confined spaces that matter most on an inspection. It is a skill built over years and hundreds of flights, not a setting on a controller.

Full video production, not raw clips

The pilot who flies it is the editor who finishes it. Sky One shoots, cuts, color grades and scores in house, then builds the sequence with titles, captions, motion graphics and music, and records the voice track to match. Twenty five years in broadcast is why the narration and the mix land where they do. You receive a finished film for a board, an insurer or a buyer, not raw footage somebody else still has to cut.

Not every job fits a package.

Bridges, canals, rooftops, job sites, claims work, surveys, events and marine listings are quoted against the site, because the flight plan changes with the structure, the water and the airspace above it. Tell us where it is and what you need on record, and you get a straight answer on whether it can be flown, what it costs, and how fast it lands in your hands.

Every location is checked for FAA restrictions before a shoot is scheduled. Permits, where needed, can take up to 90 days, and all flights are weather permitting.
